Sometimes you have to sit back and actually look at what you’ve accomplished before you realize the list is far longer than you thought. In my case I’m just referring to writing. While I’ve recently published a murder mystery and a young adult novel, I’ve got two in the works and five completed novels that are sitting on the shelf ready to be edited. At this moment one of my short stories is in an anthology Choice of Death, compiled by Micheal Maxwell, which should be out on Barnes & Noble as well as Amazon by now; it came out last week on Smashwords. One novel and probably a dozen short stories/novellas have been returned to me over the years; they were published then returned when the contracts ran out. I’ve written more in a decade than I realized.
Take one aspect of your life and check it out. Look at what you’ve really accomplished—I’ll bet the list is far longer than you imagined.
